Can Highland cows make a day? They can mine.

Somedays you just want to get away.  At least I do.  I love love love to travel.  But these days my life is pretty stationary.  That’s why yesterday when I drove by these cows I just had to stop.  The kids were asleep in the car.  And I was in heaven.  For just a moment I felt like I was on a Scottish Highland hillside on my way into the village for some groceries and a pint.  The sun was shining too, (a rare treat in the winter in these parts) filtering through the trees, adding sparkle and love.  It’s moments like these that I am beyond grateful that the human body is equipped with a glorious thing called an imagination!  You can take a vacation 10 feet from your car, and a mile from your house.  And yesterday, I didn’t even have to dream up the sun!

Friendly fellow. Saw me standing there and just had to come up to say “Hello.” It sounded very much like, “Sniff. Sniff.” though.
